Richmond Beach Garage Sale, 🎨 Spotlight North studios, 🪴 LFP plant sale

Hey neighbors,

This weekend is a pick-your-own-adventure kind of weekend.

  • Richmond Beach holds its annual neighborhood-wide garage sale on Saturday, with a community map that turns the whole area into one giant treasure hunt.
  • Spotlight North: 12 local artists open their studios across Shoreline, Lake Forest Park and the northernmost reaches of North Seattle North; it’s self-guided, free, and a really lovely way to spend an afternoon wandering.
  • LFP Garden Club is back with its annual plant sale at LFP Elementary, and the LFP Farmers Market keeps rolling on Sunday.
  • Edmonds is hosting a free Health & Wellness Expo at the District Stadium with screenings, fitness challenges, snacks and garden activities.

A small civic heads-up: starting Friday May 15, LFP City Hall will be closed on Fridays. If you need to drop something off or talk to someone in person, plan for Mon-Thu.

📚 Seattle Art Book Fair

Last weekend, we made it to the Seattle Art Book Fair at Washington Hall in the Central District. It was a very lively event with strong turn out. I left with 3 comic zines and quite a few new names to follow. Highly recommended for next year if you missed it; mark it for May 2027 and bring the whole family.
